Questions about the price
Asked and answered.
Everything else lives in support.
Is $15 really the whole price?
Yes. One will, $15 until October 31, 2026, then $29. That includes your powers of attorney, your province's signing instructions, your estate record and every future update. There is no plan above it and nothing is held back for a higher tier.
Why is it so much cheaper than everyone else?
Because the rules engine does the work that a firm bills hours for, and because we sell one plan instead of three. Competitors charge $129 to $199 as of August 2026. We are not doing less — compare us feature by feature on our comparison pages, including the places where they beat us.
What happens after October 31, 2026?
The price returns to $29 per will. If you have already bought a will at the promotional price, nothing changes for you — your updates stay free.
Do you charge per person or per will?
Per will. If you and your partner each need one, that is two wills. Each of you completes your own, because Canadian law does not permit joint wills.
Is there a subscription or a storage fee?
No. There is no recurring charge, no annual membership and no fee to keep your documents available. Some Canadian platforms include updates for the first year and then charge to extend — we do not.
What if I start and change my mind?
Then you pay nothing. We do not ask for payment details until you have read your finished will and approved it, so abandoning halfway through costs you nothing at all.
Do you offer refunds?
Because you approve your will before paying, there is rarely anything to refund. If something has genuinely gone wrong with your purchase, get in touch and we will sort it out.
Start your will. Pay when you approve it.
Answer the questions, read your finished will, then decide. $15 until October 31, 2026 — $29 after that.
