Made in Canada
Most Canadians die without a current will. That is the whole reason we exist.
Roughly half of Canadian adults have no will at all, and a large share of the rest have one that no longer describes their lives. The causes are boring and fixable: it costs too much, it feels like a project, and updating it costs money again — so nobody does.

What we believe
Price should never be the reason someone has no will.A simple will is a well-understood document; a rules engine can draft one correctly for a fraction of what the industry charges. Ours is $29 — $15 through October 2026 — and updates are free forever, because a stale will is barely better than none.
You should read a document before you buy it. We generate your complete will and show you every clause before asking for payment. That ordering is the most important product decision we made.
Provinces are not interchangeable. Estate law is provincial, and the differences change what your will must say and how it must be signed. We launch a province only when its rules engine, documents and signing instructions are done properly — which is why we are live in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta, and honest that the rest of Canada is still coming.
The estate outlives the document. A will answerswho; your executor also needs what, where and how. The estate record — assets, debts, documents, people, shareable with the right roles — is the half of the product that keeps working after the ink dries.
What we are not
We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. When your situation needs a lawyer — trusts, businesses, foreign property, blended-family structures, disinheritance — we say so on a dedicated page instead of taking your money. And when a competitor is genuinely the better choice, ourcomparison pages say that too, in so many words.
Talk to us
We answer email at support@estatecanvas.ca, and there is a human on the other end. If you find an error anywhere on this site — a stale figure, a changed statute, a competitor price we have not caught up with — tell us and we will fix it and stamp the page with a new review date.
Start your will. Pay when you approve it.
Answer the questions, read your finished will, then decide. $15 until October 31, 2026 — $29 after that.
